Stone’s Chapel is owned by the Stone’s Chapel Memorial Association, a 501(c)3 non-profit, non-stock corporation under the provisions of Chapter 2 of Title 13.1 of the Code of Virginia. The purpose of Stone’s Chapel Memorial Association is:
- To preserve and maintain Stone’s Chapel and its cemetery, and
- To educate the citizens of Clarke County and the general public about the history of Stone’s Chapel and its cemetery, and the relationship of Stone’s Chapel to the rich history and diverse communities of Clarke County.
